SKYLINE GT-R Story & History Vol.1

This article introduces the history of the Nissan Skyline, starting from the first generation Prince Skyline born on April 24, 1957, to the R31 Skyline and the birth of the R32 GT-R, focusing on the first-generation Hakosuka GT-R and the second-generation Kenmeri GT-R.

It includes photos and impressions from that time. As part of the Nissan Skyline prehistory, it covers the birth of the Skyline myth during the Prince era, the success of the Hakosuka GT-R, the unfortunate fate of the Kenmeri GT-R, and also touches on the R380 story and the Super Silhouette that stood out in the absence of the GT-R. In the second part, the development story is reconstructed from the popular series "Skyline GT-R Story & History" (December 2005 to November 2006) originally serialized in Holiday Auto magazine, with additional interviews.
